Thank you for your patience in waiting for your delivery. I am so sorry to hear that it hasn’t arrived yet and I understand the disappointment this may have caused.

Unfortunately it’s impossible to give any further updates on the progress of your package. Royal Mail have been scanning fewer parcels to save time whilst working through the backlog of mail.

I’m sure you are already aware from the news of the havoc caused by strikes in delivery centres across the UK. Frustratingly, mail doesn’t seem to be being sorted in chronological order and of course, some delivery offices have been affected worse than others. Our local postie just told us that our sorting office still have unsorted mail bags from 3 weeks ago. 

Whilst we are in support of the postal workers fighting for their pay and working conditions, please understand that we are as frustrated as you are regarding the delays. We really wish that we could help your post reach you faster than it has but unfortunately it is beyond our control. 

We have tried our best to make clear warnings on our website and order emails regarding the delays that the strikes would cause. We also offered an alternative delivery option to give our customers the choice of upgrading to next day delivery via FedEx to avoid experiencing delays.

If you opted for the standard Royal Mail delivery option then please know that the postal staff are working hard this week to get through the backlog of mail in their sorting centres. Unfortunately all we can do at this time is be patient.

We understand that this must be extremely frustrating for you, we feel it too. In the meantime we’ve created an gift message to print or show your gift recipient to let them know their package is on it’s way. Please find a copy below, if you would like the file emailed to you, please let us know.

ROYAL MAIL STRIKES

Many strike dates have been confirmed for December 2022. If you wish to avoid postal delays, please select the NEXT DAY delivery option which will be sent via Fedex.

Please be aware that Royal Mail has confirmed it will be taking industrial action on the following dates:

• Thursday 24th November 2022
• Friday 25th November 2022
• Wednesday 30th November 2022
• Thursday 1st December 2022
• Friday 9th December 2022
• Sunday 11th December 2022
• Wednesday 14th December 2022
• Thursday 15th December 2022
• Friday 23rd December 2022
• Saturday 24th December 2022

This will affect the delivery of your order. Whilst Royal Mail have promised to prioritise 1st class packages over 2nd class, there are expectations that there will be delays over the following week.
