postal strike info
Our deliveries and collections have been disrupted due to ongoing Royal Mail strikes over the last two months. The strikes have caused a backlog of mail still to be delivered in many areas of the UK, which means there is no guaranteed arrival date. Unfortunately these strikes are continuing this week and as ever - we're working hard to minimise the disruption.
If you are placing an order for a birthday or Christmas present we are advising customers to make purchases two weeks in advance to ensure their arrival on time. Alternatively, if you are a UK customer, you may add our courier charge for a guaranteed 3-6 day delivery (see below).
To avoid the postal strike disruptions please visit our stall at Portobello market (every Saturday) for a wide selection of jewels available to purhcase. You will also find us at The Clothes Show Live this December just in time for Christmas shopping!
What's happening?
Royal Mail workers’ union, the CWU, has announced plans for a national strike on 22 and 23 October, 2009. On the first day mail centre staff and drivers will strike. On the second day delivery and collection staff will strike.
Check back here for updated or visit the Royal Mail website for more information.
Alternative Postal Option
For customers who need a guaranteed fast delivery, we are now using a courier company called My Hermes for 3-6 day deliveries at a cost of £3.99. Please add the courier delivery charge below when placing your order.
